Why is it important to have regular maintenance on my home comfort system?

You wouldn't buy a brand-new car and expect to never have to put air in the tires, change the oil and check out any unusual noises, would you? In the same way that an automobile requires periodic maintenance for optimal performance, a home comfort system should be regularly tuned-up and professionally cleaned by a qualified technician. Thomas & Galbraith has a terrific regular maintenance program called an Energy Savings Agreement. As an ESA client, you will receive twice annual service (once on your heating product and once on your air conditioning product) that will ensure the lowest possible operating cost and the longest possible equipment life.

How often should I replace my filters?

For optimum efficiency and filtration, we recommend that you replace your 1” disposable filters at least once a month. If you have washable filters, they should be cleaned once a month. For other filter types, inspect monthly and replace as necessary.

This not only ensures maximum efficiency, it enables us to foresee any possible problems that may occur in the near future.
