What’s actually covered?

All parts, labor, trip and diagnostic fees for failure of insured equipment is covered, inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty. Refrigerant is always included. In summary, there are no hidden charges!

Are there any exclusions?

Yes. Excluded are acts of God, war, terrorism, earthquakes, lightening, hurricane and floods. These are situations which are typically covered by homeowner’s insurance.

Additionally, consumable items are not covered. These would include items such as furnace filters, humidifier pads and UV light bulbs.

What products are the Extended Warranty Plans available on?

They are available on all brands of equipment and all equipment and system enhancements products. Products would include: Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Humidifiers, Programmable and Non-Programmable Thermostats, High Efficiency Air Cleaners, Air Purifier Systems and UV Light Systems (Mildew & Bacteria Eliminator Systems).

Extended Warranty Plans are also available on systems regularly maintained by a certified, licensed HVAC contractor (as required for warranty coverage by all manufacturers). Thomas & Galbraith’s Energy Savings Agreement (ESA) program fulfills all maintenance requirements.
